BioShock IS HERE!!!!

The long awaited BioShock is finally released on 21st Aug 2007, in PC and Xbox360 and received very good rating from game reviewers across the globe, most of them are 9.0 and above over 10. The game has a very strong security protection, online activation + SecuROM. It took almost a week for a proper crack to be released, but still, it is crackable.

BioShock is said to be a spiritual successor to System Shock 2, a usual candidate in top pc games of all time, and one of the first fps game to incorporate RPG style into it. Both games are from the same developers.

The game takes place on a city built underwater called Rapture, and revolves around genetic enhancement called Plasmids, such as Telekinesis, Lightning Bolt, Incinerate, etc. There are more than 70 plasmids upgrades in the game. WOOT!!

You assume the role of Jack, the sole survivor of a plane crush, and you must explore Rapture in order to escape and survive the disaster. It seems that when Jack enters Rapture, almost everyone in the city turned crazy due to the side effect of the plasmids, and so they began to kill people to harvest for ADAM (will be explained below).

The strongest and iconic foe in the game would be the Big Daddy (the one in the poster above). A Big Daddy normally walks with a Little Sister, who looks like a normal innocent child, but what they do is harvest ADAMs from dead corpes. They lost their sense of mind, and they only know how to harvest ADAMs. What if anyone wants her ADAMs, this is where the Big Daddy comes into play. He basically protects the little sister from any dangers with their life, but they will only attack you if you shows hostility.

The main resources in the game are ADAM, EVE, and Money. ADAM is a resource used to purchase new plasmids or genetic upgrades, EVE (which is similar to "mana" in fantasy RPGs) is fuel for active plasmids, and Money allows the purchase of special items and ammunition.

The game settings and environment will cause u to lose ur breath. It makes me feel like playing Resident Evil in a FPS manner (in terms of the creepy environment). You will ocassionally hear people crying or whispering, and see some weird visions like a ghost. The game will voice diaries all around to help you uncover the story of the game. It's not neccesary but it will be nicer if you spend some time listening to them. What's the point of playing the game if you don't know about the story and what's going on around you.

I'm currently playing the game with medium graphics settings, and I find it very impressive. The developers really put some effort in water graphics since the game is set in a underwater environment. Overall, the graphics of the game is one of the most impressive I've ever seen.

Action is also another integral part of the game that made it so unique. Imagine playing a normal FPS game with tons of spells at your disposal such as lightning, fire, frostbolt etc. If you don't get what I mean, go buy one at your nearest shop. It's worth it!!
